So when we were going back through the area in 2009, we went back again. Lower key this time but once again a really great, special experience. Jonathan, Pappy and the rest of the crew (there was a singing cowgirl, don't remember her name) made it just fantastic for us. There's a wagon ride, the steak fry, playing horseshoes and plenty of old west music. Pappy's been in a bunch of movies too, I'm told, and I can see it. He's every bit the ol' cowboy part.
We went there for the cowboy cookout in 2008, and it just happened to be on our son's birthday. We asked if they could help us do a cake and celebrate, and they did. Pappy sang a birthday tune so special Patrick couldn't forget it.
